Privacy Policy

Overview
Frankenstein (“we”, “us”) operates the website and service at frankensteinapp.com (the “Service”). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have when you use the Service to connect your TikTok account and manage a creator publishing workflow. This policy is published on our official public website; links to this policy and to our Terms of Service appear at the top of every page on frankensteinapp.com without requiring a menu.
Information we collect from TikTok
When you choose to connect your TikTok account through TikTok Login Kit / OAuth, we receive information that TikTok makes available to our app based on the permissions you approve. This may include identifiers such as your TikTok open ID and basic profile details needed to display your connected account in the dashboard (for example, display name). We use this information only to operate the features you request, such as showing connection status and supporting publishing workflows you initiate in the app.
Content you upload and related metadata
When you select a video file and enter a title, caption, or scheduling preferences, that content and metadata are processed to carry out the publishing workflow you started — for example, preparing a post, showing status in your dashboard, and communicating with TikTok’s APIs when those features are enabled for your account. We do not use your videos for advertising or resale.
Tokens, sessions, and security
To keep you signed in and maintain your TikTok connection, we may store session data and authentication artifacts using secure, HTTP-only cookies or comparable mechanisms. Access tokens needed for TikTok APIs should be protected in production environments; we recommend storing sensitive tokens server-side with appropriate encryption and limiting their lifetime to what the Service requires.
How we use information
We use the information above to:
- Authenticate you and maintain your account connection
- Display your connected TikTok identity and publishing status in the dashboard
- Process video uploads, captions, and scheduling choices you provide
- Operate, secure, and improve the Service
- Comply with applicable law and respond to lawful requests
Sharing and sale of data
We do not sell your personal information. We may use infrastructure providers (for example, hosting on Vercel) to run the Service; those providers process data only as needed to host and deliver the application. We may share information if required by law or to protect our rights and users’ safety.
Retention and deletion
We retain information for as long as needed to provide the Service and for legitimate business purposes. You may disconnect your TikTok account from the Service using the in-app controls where available. You may contact us to request deletion of your account data or to ask questions about your information, subject to applicable law.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete certain personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us using the email below. We will respond in line with applicable law.
